Recruiter (part-time, contract)--San Francisco

IMPACT Group is seeking a contract based (20 hours a week) Recruiter (Job Lead Developer) to connect our job seekers to prospective employers and contacts at those employers on the West Coast including San Francisco and other West Coast cities.  This is a work from home position.

Job Summary

The Job Lead Developer (JLD) works with our Career Coaches and participants.  Participants are job seekers who have relocated to a new city and are seeking employment in that new city.  The JLD proactively connects participants to job opportunities and contacts at prospective companies on the West Coast.

Essential Functions

  • Develops and maintains recruiter and employer contacts.
  • Coordinates with job search coach to identify ready participants, develop appropriate leads, and connect participants with opportunities.
  • Follows up on specific referrals and provides feedback to coach and participant as needed.
  • Cultivates new industries/occupational areas as needed to serve participant base.
  • Maintains database of all contacts with potential employers, recruiters and other employment brokers. Documents activity for participants in Bullhorn and internal tracking system.
  • Provides feedback to coach on job lead progress for each participant.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional work experience.
  • At least five years of experience in full-cycle agency recruitment, with an emphasis on pro-active sourcing and candidate placement.
  • Large, established network of corporate recruitment and hiring manager contacts in San Francisco and various west coast locations nearby.
  • Thorough understanding of a wide variety of industries, occupations and work environments.
  • Ability to understand potential employer needs and match participant qualifications to those needs is critical to success.
  • Excellent communication abilities including telephone networking and rapport building.
  • Ability to research job market information and be effective in compiling and organizing the information in a usable fashion.
  • 20 hours a week of availability to work with IMPACT Group.
