Accounting Specialist

IMPACT Group, a progressive, global company based in St. Louis, MO has an exciting opportunity for a Accounting Specialist for our relocation services in the St. Louis, MO office.

Accounting Specialist

This role reports to the Manager of Accounting and Payroll. In summary, the position is responsible for the daily financial transactions of IMPACT Group.  Main duties include accounts payable, invoicing

Essential Functions:

  • Accurate posting of vendor bills.
  • Prepares weekly check run.
  • Creates and updates vendor information.
  • Answers vendor questions/problems.
  • Files various types of paperwork.
  • Compiles information requested by others.
  • Maintains company profile binders.
  • Back-up account receivable invoicing which may include:
  1. Process special billing every month.
  2. Prepare career transition invoices when needed.
  3. Print invoices.
  4. File open and paid invoices.
  • Special projects when available.
  • Performs other duties as required.


  • Post-high school training in accounting; Associate’s degree preferred.
  • At least four to five years of progressive experience in accounting or related field.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in business environments and expectations.
  • Able to establish a positive rapport with vendors, coworkers and supervisors.
  • Computer proficient using Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with QuickBooks preferred.
