Customer Engagement Specialist

Job Summary

 

​Companies hire IMPACT Group to coach their respective employees and relocating family members through change.  During a transition, nationally or across the globe, IMPACT Group provides a dedicated coach to strategically partner with the relocating employee to ensure all the details outside of the moving box are in order at destination; making it easy for families to fully embrace their new life and opportunities. 

As the first point of contact with IMPACT Group, the Customer Engagement Specialist plays a vital role in the success of the program benefit by converting opportunities into service engagements.  When transitioning employees engage in IMPACT’s services, relocation stress is reduced, allowing the employee to focus on their new assignment. We encourage applicants to visit www.ighr.com to learn more about IMPACT Group’s Relocation service offerings.

Essential Responsibilities

Convert service opportunities into program engagements

  • Receives notification of service authorization and performs initial outreach via telephone and email communications (outreach may be made to the employee and/or their relocating spouse)
  • Assumes the engagement while empathetically listening to the relocating recipient’s unique needs
  • Recommends a tailored program benefit mirroring the recipient’s relocation goals and/or career ambitions
  • Records key recipient information within IMPACT’s proprietary software applications allowing IMPACT Group to the ability to assign the most well-suited 1:ME coach
  • Effectively manages a daily workflow with a proactive attitude
  • Fosters relationships with external Relocation Coordinators and internal team members
  • Exceeds goals for number of accepts on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
  • Performs other duties as requested including other special projects for the Domestic team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in Sales, Account Management and/or Business Development required.
  • Minimum of four years of demonstrated successful experience in sales or another quota driven role preferred.
  • Experience working in relocation highly regarded.
  • Business savvy – advanced knowledge of career fields and industries.
  • Results-oriented with a strong focus on achieving short- and long-term goals.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to quickly build relationships via phone through excellent consultative questioning and listening skills.
  • Experience speaking with people from entry level to senior level roles in a variety of industries highly regarded.
  • Highly organized and able to manage competing priorities amidst high work volume.
